-She's full on cruising now, along the ottoman and coffee table (which is pretty much just a big ottoman). She can also get going pretty well with the two push walkers we have, but can't do too many steps--she gets freaked out and will "walk" on her knees for a while (or tries to put a leg up on the one that converts to a ride on toy, it's pretty funny).
-Learned to clap last week, gets very excited about it when she does it. She doesn't wave anymore though, so I'm wondering if the clapping has replaced it. She's very strange with learning how to do something, then just stopping doing it, even though she clearly knows how. She's a very fickle little thing.
-Loves her bedtime book--no matter how tired and crabby she is, she'll sit quietly and happily while I read one of four books to her. In my favorite bedtime book "On the Night You Were Born" by Nancy Tillman, she will let loose a big grin at one of the last pages that has a polar bear looking out at the reader, it's the cutest damn thing ever. I'll turn to different pages and then back to that one, and she always lights up when she sees that picture. It pretty much crushes John and I every time she does it.
